Considered by most as one of the greatest college football games of all time, Texas and USC were both undefeated heading into this national title game and battled to the very end. On Texas' final drive down 33-38, QB Vince Young lead his team to USC's 9 yard line. Facing a 4th and 5, Young faked a pass and ran it in for the game winning touchdown with only 19 seconds left. Young followed that up with another run for a 2 point conversion and Texas won 41-38. Young's final run was his 3rd rushing TD of the game and became one of the most iconic plays in football history.

Texas quarterback Vince Young made an iconic 4th quarter game winning run with just 19 seconds left in regulation to lead his team to an upset win over USC 41-38. Both teams went into this national championship undefeated and both teams played like the two best teams in the country. The lead changed hands every quarter and Texas had to contend with two Hiesmann winners of USC, their QB Matt Leinart and RB Reggie Bush. Many will forever remember and cite this game as the greatest college football game of all time.

Texas QB Vince Young became a college football legend after completing this 4th-and-5 quarterback run. The game only had 26 seconds left in regulation and the Longhorns absolutely needed a touchdown to win the national championship, down 33-38. On the biggest stage and in the biggest moment, Vince Young surveyed the field and quickly ran up into the pocket and to the right, straight for the end zone pylon.
