Alabama's head coach Nick Saban benched their starting QB Jalen Hurts at half down after finding themselves down 13-0 in the National Championship game vs Georgia. Saban put in true freshman QB Tua Tagovailoa which proved to be a great move. Tua lead his team back to 20-20 at the end of regulation. After Georgia scored a field goal in OT, it was Tua's turn to try and win the game. On a 2nd and 26 on the opponent's 41-yard line Tua threw an end zone bomb to another true freshman wide receiver that gave Alabama the win 26-23 and its 5th title in 9 years.
